To reverse this trend and showcase the true power of the arts, we selected the most unexpected group of people.
We invited eight individuals living with dementia to do something they had never done before—perform a dance for the public. But how could they memorize choreography when even simple memories posed a challenge?
After five weeks of rehearsals with specialists, the therapeutic power of music and dance enabled them to deliver an unforgettable performance.
